Emma baked a batch of warm, chocolate chip cookies with her mother. The cookies smelled so delicious that one little cookie thought, “I hope no one eats me. I want to stay all by myself!”
Soon, Emma packed the cookies into a box and took them to school for a class picnic. She happily shared them with all her friends.
As each child enjoyed a cookie, the little cookie saw smiling faces, laughter, and happy conversations. It realized that bringing joy to others felt much better than staying alone in the box.
At the end of the picnic, everyone thanked Emma for her kindness. The little cookie felt proud because it had helped make the day special.
From then on, if the cookie could speak, it would always say, “The sweetest happiness comes from sharing.”
Moral: Sharing what you have makes everyone happier, including you.
